What Era- Medieval with some modern perks. Running water, toilets, but no other modern advancements within that time slot.
Genre- Free Form Fantasy. Magic and Magical creatures do Exist.
Style- The room has multiple sources of inspiration that make it what it is. In DnD Terms, it's home brew, and for those of you not DnD familiar that simply means made up. If you must have one style to go off of then I would say Tolkien. If you are unfamiliar with that name, think Lord of the Rings, as well as The Hobbit.
Who Can Play- Anyone. Keep in mind though what you bring in as a character will make or break your own playing in the room. (IE- Gor would have a hard time fitting in Arvandor and would most likely be tossed out in a week.)
POI- Points of Interest. Arvandor has multiple realms all connected to it. These lands are connected by Portals. These portals are all guarded by the strongest of Evlish warriors. You can not break through them. Those who try are killed. To get into Arvandor you must be invited in by an Elf. The other realms are ALL open and free to play in though and much more rough and tumble, darker than the heavenly and peaceful Arvandor is.
Currency: Elves trade in Favors, not gold. They are not a race bribed or bought with Gold, and material items mean little to them, it is the act of Favors that are used as currency. Favors are offering to work/help/trade or otherwise better the others life in some way, and that is how Arvandor functions, by bettering each other. Gold is used as well, but not often and not favorably in Arvandor Proper, though many outlying cities and other realms do use Gold quite regularly. Note- Gold however is the only currency acceptable for the following: Whore Houses, Taverns, Bath Houses, and Stables.
More to follow up with as questions are asked.

Key Feature- I can not stress this enough for new players so I am going to REALLY simplify this. Elves are not assholes. Elves are warm and loving, generous and kind, and will give their shirt off their back for someone in need. Arvandor means heaven, and to any race that comes in, it would easily seen as such. Elves are NICE. DO NOT bring your character in as if people were treating them like dirt. There is no excuse for misunderstanding what elves are like now that I have stated this.
