Those who wander aren't always Lost... But those who wander into Cam'wethrin Lond? They stay Lost...
Cam'wethrin Lond is not your typical thieves den... No more than it is the common pirate cove... Only the bottom of the barrel, the worst of the worst, the rapists and and murderers come to live in Cam'wethrin Lond. Only those with blood beneath their nails and a black list longer than their arms can survive in such a place, for as much as they had preyed on others, so too are they preyed on in this city. Without a good person in sight, not an innocent, guilt free soul to be found... It has become a stylized city that cannibalizes their own, murder killing murderer, rapist raping fellow rapist, on and on down the line... No one is safe, and like any wild beast, only the strong survive... The smart thrive... And if one is a mix of cruelty and strength? Then one might become the very King of Cam'wethrin Lond... Until someone comes along and kills you for it...
Cam'wethrin Lond has no import nor export, not in the way that other cities have, though it is said that if you can survive it... There is nothing that one can not find here... For the right price... Though sometimes, that very price might be leaving you a bit short... A head shorter, that is...
It is here that the stories of Ghouls begin... They look like Elves... Live like elves... Use magic like elves... Fall in love like elves...
And...
Eat other Elves...
Of course, these are only rumors... Right?
Cam'wethrin Lond is located in the hot, tropical climate of the deep southern hemisphere of the Rift. It is not written on any map, nor is it commonly known, and those who find themselves there are often marooned on the island as punishment for some great sin performed among kinder society.
