The Secondary Deities of the Rift are another level of Gods, born from the prayers that do not belong to any main God in particular, creating an entirely unique sub-species. These are called Seraphim or Angelousen, called as such because they are often seen floating above the ground, and several are known to have wings.
These Deities take a VERY active role in not only the Rift, but other areas as well, being a sub species they are no longer bound to just one area of existence. They have been seen in areas such Arvandor, Faerun, as well as the Fey realms. These are not a species to take on lightly for they are the embodiment of prayers, and each performs a very set purpose, interfering with them will likely result in a very abrupt end of ones life.
Gadreel, Sub-Deity of War
As many of the Realms are typically very peaceful, Gadreel is rarely seen by anyone, however when such a sight is viewed... Many would say that the blend between beauty and abstract horror are a perfect representation of War itself... Gadreel is not the one who causes war, rather he arrives to collect the souls of those fallen in war, to take them to the Farshore or other such dominions where the departed may join loved ones. As it might seem as if this God were a merciful one, do not be fooled, but as he gathers the souls of the dead so too does he consume the flesh... The cost of his service is the body of those fallen, thick red pulsing roots that resemble the veins within ones self, they seek out flesh and bone to consume... He is the main reason why many who die on the battlefield are never recovered, for there is no body, no trace to be found.
Asbeel, Sub- Deity of Ruin
As every civilization must Rise, so too must they all Fall, the chaos and dust of their birth the death mantle of their destruction. Asbeel is the deitiy of Ruin, both of ones self, and civilizations great and small. He is often the one people see moments before some grand calamity, be it a massive accident or the social ruin of a one great person, and he leaves as soon as the event has happened. He is often seen as the bearer of terrible news, for once he is seen, no good can come afterwards... As punishment for his deeds, the Gods cursed him with the skull of a raven for a head, so that all might know him for what he is... It is said that at one time, Faerun was as beautiful and prosperous as Arvandor, the Humans there a noble and kind race that knew how to live in harmony with the world around them... Then Asbeel was called down unto it by those who envied the humans and wished their distruction... Resulting in the world of Faerun as it stands today... He is not one that is called on lightly, and it should never be with any sort of confidence in ones self, for as sure as he causes Ruin on others he is not above calling the same fate down on the one who summoned him.
Armarous, Sub-Deity of Undoing
"Do not wish to undo the past, no matter how painful or humiliating it might be my child, for each such prayer goes to Armarous and she is the one who will undo our world." - A mother's words to young children...
Though Armarous shows no true feminine features, the sex of this deity is easily known, for her face though half masked is beautiful to look upon. She holds no true form, even the shape of her body is a lie, for those who have gone close enough to see her tell stories of the fact she wears no dress... No armament... Instead the drape of what is thought to be clothing is nothing more than hundreds of arms, all tied down close to her body... It is said that the very ropes that bind her to her stone of birth are the ties of fate, and that the more prayers are sent to her, the weaker those bonds grow... The more arms that are released... Until at the very end of a civilization, she is set free by Asbeel, the Sub-Deity of Ruin. It is she who causes the destruction of all she touches, her thousands of arms the limbs she takes from those who pray to her, each one undoing the very fabric of all that was once a part of that world. She is only ever bound once more when Asbeel has completed his task, once more returning the worlds to Balance, so that life might start anew once more.
Simikiel, Sub-God of Vengeance
Simikiel is the sub-god of Vengence, all those who wish to smite those who have done them harm need only pray to Simikiel, and their prayers shall be answered. However, this is not something that one should ever do lightly, for as sure as he is guaranteed to answer each prayer... He is known to smite those very people who pray to him when the wish for vengeance is unjust. He is seen as a humanoid figure with hooven legs, a great double bladed sword in his hand, a set of black and blood red wings sprouting from the front of his chest before looping under his arms to spread out behind him... Of his eyes no one knows, for the upper face of his face is nothing more than a hole which the strings of fate are tied, creating a dream catcher behind his skull with which he catches the prayers of the just...
He is rarely seen by the just who pray to him, but more than a few death bed confessions tell stories of Simikiel, always with great terror but with humility as well... Those who die at his hand though repent before their death are often taken up by Da'at to be cleansed and healed before being allowed to become reborn once more.
Hasmed, Sub-Deity of Distruction
"For all the forces of creation there is but one Undoer
, To hear his voice is to know that you are deaf
, to see is face is to know that you are blind
, To feel his touch is to be no more"
Pray not to Hasmed... This sub-diety is never seen, his name, spoken only in whispers... Each time a star goes out in the sky it is known that such is the power of Hasmed who is the destroyer of existence... He is the only Sub-Diety who's birth is unknown, who's purpose is so terrible and terrifying, that the Gods themselves have him under lock and key... Hasmed's own powers scare the Gods, for in his touch he can undo the very Pantheon itself, for his touch destroy's all. Deep under the earth there are those who pray for his return, their hatred of the fate dealt to them so great that they would rather wish an oblivion of all existence rather than spend another moment trapped within the dark...It is these reverent prayers to Hasmed that keeps him in power, and growing stronger...
Azrael, Sub-Deity of Death
I have watched you since you were born
, I wrote your name in my book as you came into this world
, I have had an eye watching your entire life
. See now, your name fades with time
, And now you shall return from whence you came
, Delivered from this mortal coil
. Let this apple take your body from you
, Let my hand guide you to your rightful place
, For I am your shepherd
. Blessed are the dead
, And now you are among them
, Delivered from this mortal coil... -Prayer over the Dead in the Rift
Azrael is the only truly neutral sub-deity in the entire pantheon... He cares not what path the soul walked, no more than he cares about how the person lived, his only true goal and task is death itself... From mighty warrior to the lowest tavern whore, death comes for them all, a merciful and often times much beloved deliverer. Born from the prayers of the dying and sick, from the suffering and the tortured, from the beaten and downtrodden... His goal is to collect those at the cusp of death, to take their souls and separate them from the flesh, to deliver those souls to their proper places... He is much beloved by Da'at, who is the God of Balance and Love, though much hated by Gadreel, the Sub-Diety of War. There is a constant fight over the bodies and souls of those who fall on the battlefield, and often Azrael has been accused of taking those which belong to Azrael by right of prayers.
Suphlatus, Sub-God of Dust
Flesh to ash, bones to dust
... Let sand pull back to wretched teeth and let the heavens rain dry
. Fill thy heart with scorn, o genius of dust
. Let thy touch wash over our sins
, We submit to the end. - Prayer said over the dead on the first year anniversary of the deceased burial.
Suphlatus might seem at first to be the weakest of the sub-gods, appearing as a small blond woman with a delicate statue, who's legs appear to be made of wood and jointed much like a dolls... Typically she is the main deity of Desert nomads, who pray to her in hopes that she will not send up sand storms which can blot out the very sun itself, to avert the course of Dirt Devils that can wipe out entire caravans... However, her purpose serves so much more than just that... For she is also responsible for the decay of flesh and bone, allowing ones bodies to fully return to the earth, where the bodies in turn become the earth itself that blows in the wind. Those who have earned her scorn, it is said, are cursed as zombies for she will not allow their bodies to return to their natural state.

They have been seen in areas such Arvandor, Faerun, as well as the Fey realms.
