As much as I would really love to let this be a free for all, there has to be some boundaries, some things to keep it all in check. A balance of power so that nothing is overplayed or unbalanced. As such, Below are a list of the Races that I will not approve in general, though I may give permissions if the situation calls for it.
Primordials: Big bad shit kickers. They are massively over powered, and according to lore, they can not even come into existence without seriously screwing a LOT Of things up. IE- They throw the delicate power balance RIGHT to the shitter. As such, the room has ONE Primordial, which is my character, and she is used only as a plot device.
Gods: Again... Just a weeeeee bit over the top. Can we use them as plot devices? Sure! But as a daily rp commuter? Noooooo.
Angels: This is... Really hard. They are humanoid, and can TECHNICALLY exist in this plane of reality, but... Why be an Angel when you can be one of the last Winged Elves? I say this because in truth, Angels are more in relation to religions that do not mesh with the religions and theme setting of Arvandor and the other realms. If you really, really, REALLY need to have this character be an angel... Then we will of course talk.
Drow: I say this on the basis that, Gosh bless all role players, but the Drow are one of those classes where you have GOT to know what you are doing. Too often the class is misplayed, and it irritates the ever loving ass rash out of those who are very familiar with the race, and because of that it becomes an issue. Demonstration of in room pm role play must be given in direct relation to a master drow player before I will give the Ok.
Elemental: These are more on the lines of the Titan Elementals. If you want to be a smaller, more common elemental then sure, I have no issue with it.
Yes, I know, it sucks... I am very sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused any of you as well, but at the end of the day I swear to you all, it is only because the balance of the room must be kept. If there is a balance, you can throw anything you want at it, the amount of fun you can have is endless... But if it isn't, then everyone wants to just be this or that one thing, and you end up in a room full of what I can only call clones... Diversity is the spice of all life, Rt and Rp, and the more we have the greater we can make this room together.
Thank all of you so much for reading these through, as well as adhering to them, and if you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me!
