Slaughter Of The Gypsies!
We have just gotten word of a fresh set of murders found out in the Avondale Forest, where three men have been found murdered in their camp. One had been beaten beyond recognition with his skull beaten in with what can only be described as a blunt object. Unfortunately there have been no witnesses yet to come forward and identify the men, and we have no information as to what caused their deaths. Lord Grey has also made an observation about their bodies, bringing to light that this new wave of Murders are not related to the ones that have been occurring in town. It is entirely possible that these events are unrelated, but Lord Grey still cautions everyone to maintain the curfew and current precautions set up to protect the citizens. The offer of 100 Gold Feathers is still available, the reward for any information leading up to the capture or identification of the murderer in town. There has yet been any information or reward offered for the murder of the Gypsies, but people are encouraged to come forward and assist in the capture of the murderer.
Repairs in Town Still Underway
With the weather continuing to run wet, several stores and a few vacant houses are still under repairs from the vicious storm from last month. People are still advised to use caution around the more damages areas. Several people have reported falling roof tiles as well as crumbling store fronts that have caused three reported accidents so far. Volunteers are still needed with these last few houses and Lord Grey is still offering free food and beer to anyone who assists in the repairs in town. Information can still be found at the Local Post Office.
Nightingale Preparing For it's 25th Anniversary
Aibreán (April) Will be seeing the 25th Anniversary of the famous Nightingale Singing Lounge. Billets are now available at the local Post Office and Inn with a list of the nights entertainment, shows, small plays, and door prizes. In a surprising turn of events, a new singer in town, Miss Trinity Trillian, will be performing the Opening Act for the night in an unheard of change of tradition. Normally the Nightingale would have a Diva from the Opera House in town to open, but rumors have been flying about the talent of this new arrival. Those who have heard Her sing have told Us that she is a rare talent and well deserving of holding the honor of opening on such a momentous occasion. We can only look forward to hearing it for ourselves. Remember to buy your seats early, they are expected to sell out very quickly!
Weekly Weather Forecast
Once again we are beset with unusually stormy weather for this time of year, with highs of 12 degrees celsius and rain expected to fall this entire week. Please use caution when riding horseback as well as traveling by carriage as the roads in town are quite slick and the roads out of town and going into the country are already flooding and becoming quite treacherous to travel.
As Always, We Wish You a Happy Spring here at the Daily Deliverance! If anyone has something they wish to publish, letters are always welcome and after a review, may be submitted to our daily billets.
Sincerely,
The Daily Deliverance Crew.
