Father,

I do trust this letter finds you and Mother well, I have been following along the wishes you set before you left and have remained in my studies and kept focused. I am finding however that the help maids and chaperones you yourself have hired are becoming, well.. a bit of a bore and they are simply not engaging enough. 

I feel since my birthday has indeed come around and I have hit my first major milestone that it would be only natural for me to take some of the reigns when it comes to my life decisions, so I have made one, with the help and guidance of another.

Sybelle is watching over me and has done since you left, I have actually moved into her small pond side cottage, she doesn't use it anymore she said as she has of course moved in with Uncle Diovan. I am not there alone though, he is off on ranges so she is staying with me.. so its myself, Sybelle, Aylan and at times little Pia. 

I feel a lot more comfortable here, and I am able to continue my studies without distraction, and I feel comfortable around her, she's offered me a great deal of advice that I am finding is invaluable.

I figured you would have returned by now, It seems like a very long time but perhaps thats just because so much has happened in your absence.

My Little Princess,

When did you grow up so very fast? I am proud that you are keeping to your studies, they are more important than perhaps you might realize, though I find it a bit disconcerting that you find your tutors a bore. Your Nuncle Garafin is a very well educated, and well traveled man, and the amount of life lessons he can teach you is near incomparable… The other tutors I can easily replace, though I fear that perhaps it is not so much the tutors, as perhaps the curriculum? Tell me sweetheart, are you simply bored with the area of study, and would you perhaps prefer another area? Something more Specialized?

First milestone? Ten years old is still far too young for you to be thinking you have made any milestones? Especially for you to think that you are any where near old enough to make any sort of life decisions, especially with the help of someone other than myself or your mothers. I dislike the vagueness of this Aysil, quite a bit much, and I find it disrespectful when we have ever been honest and forthcoming with one another.

Sybelle giving you loan of her cottage after she has moved out is a great kindness, and I do hope you are being respectful to both herself, and her property. I thought you were happy at the Inn? Has something happened there that you have not told me, or perhaps are afraid to? Did one of the guests do something untoward? You would, of course, tell me or one of the family if such were the case… Would you not? Regardless of who it might be, trust in your family, we would never ever let anyone hurt you. Ever. As for your Uncle, I fear you will not see too much of him this time of year, winter forces them to be gone longer after all. Do you (scribbled out) like your little brother- Like Aylan? He seems like a sweet child… Looks very much like his mother. I trust Pia is doing well also?

Once again you state distraction and I have to wonder what you mean. It is such a general term… And what Advice?

Aysil… This is quite Irregular. Unfortunately the events are taking longer due to the amount of pomp and circumstance that accompany all royal weddings. You will know what I mean when you come of age.

Though as your Father, I fear for much and more of what I am seeing in this letter, both the maturity of it, and the lack of any substance… All too much subterfuge… Half committed things. We will indeed speak soon, for we should be back in a matter of a few days hence at best, and I do hope you will be more forthcoming with your answers when we meet.

What have you done? One minute I am comfortable in a place I was about to call my own and the next minute I am being told that it is your wishes that I be sent to stay at the Aranosse Inn? I am not being deceptive, I am being cautious with my wording as I know you will blow up at me. 

No there is nothing wrong with my tutors and the study content is fine, I just needed space and I dont feel I need to study all the time, I am missing out on a lot because I am cooped up inside with my head in a book. Yes it may have worked for Uncle Jacob but maybe not for me? I dont know what I want to be or even what I want to study yet.

I know that Sybelle told you about the boy, and there is nothing wrong with it, it was maybe two kisses total, we were out walking and it just happened and it was nice, really very nice. He makes me feel good and he makes me smile, he is a gentleman. I honestly think you would like him, but I doubt you would give him 2 minutes of your time.

I dont know what it is you have done, but you need to sort that out. Its all well and good to get high and mighty about how I should be and react around boys when its clear and apparent you have done something to Sybelle, I have lost count of the Paramours that have popped by to check up on her because she just seems 'out of sorts' their wording.. So maybe everything isn't peachy on your own world then

I WILL go to Garafins but you wont cage me in, and the more you press on me the more I will press back Father, I love you, to the very moon and back but I am not a child anymore.
