Palace Ninael Óleryd
The Royal Family of Remmórë have been a long standing Noble House, able to trace their lineage unbroken to the first Princes of Arborea, some believing to be born from Corellon and his union with a fair young Elvish maiden. Through their history they have often kept to High Elf unions, though once every few generations they have been known to marry in with Sun Elves, always maidens of impeccable breeding. They strengthen their position by marrying the daughters into other Noble families, which has kept the family name well connected and respected, though as a family and city they are far from large.
They have no Army though they are in possession of an advanced, if somewhat small Navy, enabling many a trade vessel to find safe harbor in their ports. As such, they are often rich in trade, and their own outsources such and Rice and Silk are able to reach lands far beyond the regular trade routes. Reaching the city by any other way other than sea is known to be quite difficult and more than a little treacherous, the woods that cover the steep high mountains rarely see the foot of any Elf and are full of natural flora and fauna that make traveling hard if not dangerous, and the thick canopy well fed by the frequent rains means that navigating by sunlight or the stars is near impossible. Because of this, trade and general awareness of the city itself is quite limited, and only those who have traded with the city or are a descendant of a former pupil known of it's location and existence.
As of the moment, the Noble family Remmórë still rules their lands, though their numbers have dwindled in recent generations. The Lord and Lady of the house have passed onto the Far Shore, the Eldest Son currently rules as a King in a city across the Sparkling Sea, and the only Daughter is unmarried. Rumor has it that there is an Heiress to the family, the eldest Daughter's own child, though as of yet there has been no evidence of such.
The Eldest Daughter, Lady Melima Tára Remmórë, is said to be returning and will be taking over as Head of the Family. Her brother, Fenriil Remmórë has not been seen in forty years and it is presumed that he will cede the position to his sister, as he has no living heirs of his body in which to pass the title nor lands along to.
