We all heard the new, the rumors flying, the gossip running rampant... After all, how could we not see, when it was all made rather...Obvious?
Yes, you guessed it, we are FINALLY able to give you all of the information we have gathered about the once popular little song bird, Miss (as if she deserves the polite title!) Trinity Trillian, or should we say Rose MacDonald?! Yes! Even the name she called herself was a lie, as our sources have discovered that she she was using an alias, another lie to the surprisingly long list this little blond has racked up in the last four months!
Now, we all remember when she came into town, wandering about the streets in stolen clothes and begging work. We're polite folk here of course, we try to help people, even strangers. Naturally, one of our wonderful business owners here gave her a chance, Mr. Ronnie at the Nightingale. It all seemed to work out quite nicely for Miss MacDonald, she was given food and clothes by the fellow employees there, and she seemed to be a hard worker. A bit... Fast with the patrons we heard, flirting with many of them, only for her to give them the cold shoulder when she discovered they were just our regular boys.
Of course, we can't forget that she was known for throwing things either, especially shot glasses at men who were only following up on her leads. Why, one of our own dear readers of long standing was one of her victims, sharing with us that all he had done was advise the young woman to take better care of herself and was rewarded for his compassion with a glass thrown at his head! (The good and long standing local doctor we all know, confessed to yours truly that stitches were needed, and if she had aimed lower he would have lost his eye.)
Her behavior didn't improve when she caught the eye of one of our local boys, a Mr. Kholer. Now, we all remember him, how can we not? Such a good looking man, kind with the young boys about town, often employing them and sometimes being the only reason their families had bread on the table. MacDonald was quick to move in on him we hear, one of the fellow workers at the Nightingale confided in us, giving us the story so long as we keep her name out of the papers though. (After all, we all know a good girl never lets her name be in the paper, something MacDonald never seemed capable of doing!)
We have it from our source there, that it was the first night MacDonald had taken the stage, given a chance to sing to see if she was any good. (Mr. Ronnie couldn't keep her behind the bar any more, we hear, because she was getting progressively more violent with the patrons.) It was the same night poor Mr. Kholer was to be caught by the blond temptress, even going to far as to poison him, to ensure he had to spend the night In Her Room! Our source tells us that she had slipped something into Mr. Kholers drink as they talked at his private table, and he was soon violently sick afterwards, quickly leaving the Nightingale. Of course, this didn't stop her, not at all! Our witness says that they had gone out to help Mr. Kholer herself, only to have MacDonald threaten her with bodily harm, to make our witness return to the Nightingale or risk injury.
Now, we have it from several of the workers there, that MacDonald took him up the back stairs, and snuck him into her own private room and even went to far as to lock the door! Now, we can't say what happened behind those closed doors, but we know for a fact something happened! After all, it was the very next day that Mr. Kholer, being the gentleman that we all knew him to be, invited MacDonald to go live with him and the little flat he shared with his relations. Apparently, things went sour quite fast, because it was heard by a neighbor quite a fight being had between MacDonald and one of the women at the flat. Soon after, Mr. Kholer was moving them to another house, forced to leave because of MacDonald's apparently violent temper!
Now, we have a special guest with us today for this little story, a Miss Alice Cooper, who was Mr. Kholers sweetheart for months. You can imagine our heart break for this sweet girl, one of the waitresses of The Birdcage here in town, our own little burlesque lounge. She recently had to leave work, heavy with child now, and she had confided in us that Mr. Kholer is the father. Out of a desperate desire to reunite with the father of her child, she has chosen to come forward to us today, to set the story straight. Below we have the story, written word for word, of the events that had transpired before Mr. Kholer moved away.
"Mr. Kholer and I... We were going to be getting engaged soon, we were just waiting to save up enough money together to buy a house, we wanted to have a little home to raise our baby together at. The night he was at the Nightingale, he was looking for work as a Bartender there, since the space was now vacant. We were so happy, so excited really, for the life we were going to start." [Miss. Cooper is tearing up softly now, and we can't help but feel bad for the poor girl, it's so hard for her to talk we can see...] "I'm... not sure what happened that night, I don't visit places like that where they serve hard liquore, my mama always told me to avoid places like that... I didn't like that Mr. Kholer, Ace, would be working there, but we did need the money... I heard from a friend there that he had been poisoned that night, which explained why he didn't come home to me, when he never missed a night with me... When he came home the next day, he had this little blond woman with him, and I thought it was just some poor soul he was helping out... He was alway like that, so sweet and helpful to those less fortunate, always looking out for them... Well, that night rather than coming up to bed with me, he took the spare bedroom down stairs and stayed the night with Her! You can imagine how heart broken I was! Why, here I was told he was going to be looking for work, only when he came home he had a woman in tow with him. Even worse, he was spending the night with her, rather than with me. What was worse... Was that she was so...terrible loud... I am sure it was all a lie... Surely a woman doesn't work... THAT fast... No lady, anyways. Then she came out to our shared kitchen, as calm as you please, as though she lived there! I asked her to leave, to leave Mr. Kholer alone, that he was engaged to me. She laughed in my face, and told me that I should keep a better eye on my man, because she already had mine. Naturally, of course, I was upset by this. She and I got into a bit of an argument, and it was then that Mr. Kholer came out.... And he and I got into a bit of an argument as well... I was begging him to stay home, to stay with me, for our baby... I swear MacDonald must be a witch! It was as if I no longer mattered, my fiance didn't even care about me, about our baby anymore! Next thing I know.... He is moving out with that... that whore! When I found out she had gotten pregnant... I tried to kill myself, anything to get Ace to come home, but nothing worked. He was ensorcelled, bewitched, no one mattered but MacDonald. When he proposed to her, I knew my life was over, my and my baby were going to have to find a way on our own..." [She is so overcome with grief now, we have to stop the interview, worried she might go into early labor with how distraught she is. Of course, we have all pooled our resources together to give her a nice purse, a bit of a donation to try and help her get on her feet for her and the baby. She leaves us, crying, heading back to the house she shares with her sisters now.]
So yes, we can now confirm that MacDonald was indeed pregnant! We even had the good Doctor who was kind enough to spare us a few moments of his time, to tell us that indeed he had been hired on to confirm her pregnancy, and to care for her. Now, no one knows what happened the night of the engagement, all we do know is that after that night, things suddenly changed. Mr. Kholer suddenly disappeared from public eye and MacDonald was submitted to hospital, apparently wounded one of the nurses tell us, her name is being protected so that she does not lose her job.
Now I am sure you are all wondering, why we need to protect her name, after all she isn't breaking client confidentiality... Well, we have it from this same nurse that a Dr. Anikin, threatened all the nurses with the loss of their jobs if they spoke about this. Another Victim of MacDonald's sorcery? We have to admit, it is a possibility, after all no one has seen Dr. Anikin, nor MacDonald, since the incident... We all wonder what happened, but there are rumors, little whispers... Apparently, MacDonald finally bit off more than she could chew, and was attacked in her home... Another rumor has it that she was badly beaten, and several say it was rather deserved, that it was her fault for encouraging so many men... Now, of course we never condone violence against women or violence in general, but we have to say that sometimes people do deserve what happens to them. The last rumor we had was from the good Doctor himself, saying that MacDonald had come in with a badly broken leg... and miscarried. We can't say we know this for truth or not, no one has seen her for well over two weeks now. What we find most disturbing of all, are the new rumors we have heard, about MacDonald and the new Doctor...
More on that coming up soon as we have more information to give you! All we know, is that we are asking for any information our dear readers can give us, either about the whereabouts of Mr. Kholer, or MacDonald. As always, we strive to bring you the best news, and the juiciest rumors!
Always,
Miss E.
